Unfortunately some of our favorite products get discontinued. There could be a number of reasons; manufacturing problems, an ingredient or part might not be available. Many times products get reformulated with improved ingredients and it takes a while before they’re available. I have found that some of my favorite products have been discontinued too, so I know how it feels.

1. Make sure your product shade comes in a refillable pan. When you're out of product and are ready to purchase a new compact, reuse the old one instead.
   
   
2. Carefully pry out the metal pan, but don't hold the mirror while doing this because it will break under pressure.
   
   
3. Gently insert the refillable pan which will fit right in.

For ease of removal next time try the following: bend a paper clip and hold it with needle nose pliers and heat it until red. Then, burn a hole in the bottom of the compact. If you're not comfortable doing this ask your husband or boyfriend. Otherwise, when you come for an update I can do it for you.
